Today, with the internet, there are endless ways to market your product that are 10x more accessible to the everyday person. Instead of hiring a large corporate marketing firm, you can take matters into your own hands and market your business with the touch of your fingertips. It’s fantastic.
But with so many marketing avenues to choose from… which ones are going to be right for you?
Here are 3 marketing strategies we love that you can implement right now:
Pinterest is our number one traffic source for directing hits to your website! Why? Because it’s Google on steroids for your mind! Pinterest is basically one big search engine that uses pictures as their search results – making creativity and online discoveries come easier to us!
For example, we link our client’s products or blog posts to Pinterest visually appealing to influence clicks, re-pins, and saves in a positive direction. This helps spread your content to mass amounts of people quicker and targets your desired audience more efficiently.
Believe us – Pinterest is not the tool to sleep on. Just ask our expert, Brittany, who handles our pinning!
The proof is in the pudding, and the pudding says that Instagram is a close second to Pinterest for online marketing! When you accumulate the traffic that stories, reels, and posts pull in altogether? It’s astonishing! However – there is a trick to doing this in an authentic way that will develop loyal followers willing to invest in you and not just the lurkers that stay lurkers.
The trick is to just be you. Give clients a reason to invest. Tell your story and be personable with them. Many of our clients will connect with us personally and then take an interest in what we do as a team. But we gave them a reason to say, “Hey – I can see myself working with them. They’re my people.”
You could also try TikTok, as it performs well for some clients of ours. But definitely do your market research before sinking your time into either platform. Find out who lives on that app and if they are in the target market for what you bring to the table.
Look – with things opening up or meet-ups being taken online… there is no excuse to be ghosting on your local events.
Events are a great way to network and get your name out there, and tons of websites (like Eventbrite) have them categorized by interest or type, making it easier to attend the ones that matter. Many events are also very affordable and are looking for people to come and fill up space. So whether it’s getting a gathering together for a mingling event or putting up shop at a local market – there are plenty of ways to make the most of your experience.
Even better…? Host your own! You can partner up with a local company that has complimentary clients and do an educational session. A good example is a health coach partnering with a pilate’s studio to teach others how to make healthy meals. Get creative. The world is your oyster, and we should take advantage of making new connections while we can!
So – are you as intimidated by marketing yourself online now? Or do you feel that you’ve got a good grasp on some excellent ways that you can elevate your business?
